A well-known form of shots, Babar quickly made a name for himself by playing eye-catching strokes. He also broke Virat Kohli’s record of the 1000 T20I fastest running and in 2018 demoted Aaron Finch from the bench to become the top scorer in the ICC’s T20I Rankings.

Last looked down from the top in January 2018, Azam played a key role in winning Pakistan’s T20 World Cup, making 198 runs in four innings, making a total of 66 hitting 124.52.

Pakistan made a good start to the tournament, winning their first four games in style with the leading Babar.
