Pakistani fast swimmer Shaheen Shah Afridi said on Friday he was looking forward to capturing Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) if given the chance.
He commended the management of Lahore Qalandars during a press conference, praising him as "very good."
It's great to sing in Lahore Qalandars, I've been playing with them for years," he said.
Meanwhile, explaining the challenges of throwing in Bangladesh he said it is difficult to throw on a slow pitch.
The lanky pacer of the left hand remarked, Bowling is good when the thrower is aggressive and strong."
While talking about the attackers and his throwing teammate Hasan Ali, who is also in amazing form these days, Afridi noted that Hasan Ali is a fighter, and it is fun to throw around him.
He said he would work hard in the second Test against Bangladesh and win the series.
When the captain gives the ball, I strive to do well and win the team; I try to give my 100% by swinging the most," Afridi said.
He further added that if a player fails in a match he should not be considered a loser, adding that Test cricket is difficult.
Pakistan cricket team is busy preparing to beat Bangladesh in the second Test match in a two-match series starting tomorrow [Saturday] and finishing another white over home.
Shaheen Shah Afridi has been an important part of the Lahore Qalandars team. He has played 37 games in the franchise, netting 50 wickets for an economic value of 7.65.
Shaheen Shah Afridi described his work with Lahore Qalandars as a "good trip" and hoped it would improve as he captained the team.
PSL 2022 will kick off in Karachi on January 27. The Lahore Qalandars will play their first match against defending champions Multan Sultan on January 29.
It will be interesting to see how the Qalandars play under Shaheen Shah Afridi.
